Robert T. Wrigley is the President and CEO of Trefoil Properties and of the management firm for the investment fund, Spectrum Alliance, LP. Prior to his founding of Trefoil in 1990, Bob was the President and CEO of the real estate subsidiary of one of the nation's largest privately owned conglomerates. In that role, he founded and nurtured the growth of the real estate portfolio to an asset size of more than $700 million, exhibiting an excellent rate of return throughout his tenure. In his 39 years in the real estate industry, Bob has represented private and institutional investors from the United States, Western Europe and Japan. He has planned and developed more than seven million square feet of office, retail, residential, and life-care projects. Bob is responsible for the strategic management of the companies and the negotiating and structuring of critical transactions.
James R. Wrigley, Executive Vice President, has been with Trefoil since 1997. Jim is responsible for managing Trefoil's property portfolio including site identification, acquisition, planning and approvals as well as overseeing development and financing. Together, Bob and Jim structured the Spectrum Alliance, LP fund, which is anticipated to grow to $500 million by the end of 2011. Jim graduated from the University of Delaware (Magna Cum Laude) in 1997 with a degree in Business.
John P. Lloyd joined Trefoil in August 2004 as its Senior Vice President and General Counsel. Jack is a 1967 graduate of The Pennsylvania State University. After four years in the United States Air Force, he graduated from The University of Pennsylvania Law School in 1974 (Order of the Coif). Following graduation, Jack joined Drinker Biddle & Reath, LLP becoming a partner in 1982. Prior to joining Trefoil, Jack represented Trefoil since its inception in 1990.
Elizabeth A. Wrigley, Senior Vice President, has been with Trefoil since its inception. Betty directs the leasing department, interacting with tenants, third party brokers and legal counsels. Betty additionally oversees the operations of Tremark Management (property manager for over 1.3 million square feet), the aesthetic design of properties, Trefoil?s office management, and our IT department. Betty graduated (Summa Cum Laude) from The University of Maryland, and received her Masters (Summa Cum Laude) from Villanova University.
Keith T. Metzger, Senior Vice President, joined Trefoil in January 2003. Keith is a 1997 graduate of the University of Delaware with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, and completed his MBA from Villanova University in 2009. Keith is responsible for the execution of development and financing activities and works closely with Bob and Jim in all strategic planning.
Charles J. Mensch, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, is responsible for managing the accounting and finance departments for Trefoil. Chuck has extensive financial management experience in the development / construction industry with both Fortune 500 companies and with smaller, private companies. He graduated Magna Cum Lauda from Central College in Iowa and is a member of the Pennsylvania Society of CPAs.
Benjamin R. Gross joined Trefoil in May 2008 as Vice President and Co-General Counsel. Ben is a 1991 graduate of The Pennsylvania State University and received his Juris Doctor from The University of Florida College of Law (Order of the Coif) in 1998. Ben began his legal career practicing real estate law at Hunter, Maclean, Exley & Dunn, P.C. in Savannah, GA, and later spent four years as in-house counsel of a major retail corporation. Ben has served as President of Borough Council in Lansdale, PA and is currently Chairman of its Economic Development Committee.
R. Brian Alderfer, Vice President, has been with Trefoil for 18 years, and formerly had his own construction firm. He is responsible for overseeing third party construction managers, architects and engineers in the planning, design, and execution of infrastructure and building contracts. Brian is an essential team member regarding project acquisition and due diligence.
Lisa A. Stento-Reidy, Vice President and Controller. Lisa joined Trefoil in 2006. A graduate of Kutztown University with a degree in Business Administration, Lisa oversees the daily accounting functions of Trefoil and Spectrum Alliance. She was previously the Controller for a regional Real Estate Investment Trust and an Assistant Vice President for a mortgage brokerage company.
Jeffrey E. Brode joined Trefoil in 2006 as Vice President and Leasing Manager. Jeff received a BA from Hobart College and an MBA from The American International University at Richmond College in London. Jeff is a licensed Pennsylvania real estate broker and has worked on both sides of lease transactions, representing owners and tenants. He works closely with Betty, identifying prospects, negotiating retail and office leases, managing outside brokers, assisting in the development of leasing strategies and overseeing market research.
Gregory Carbone, CPM, CCIM, Vice President, Property Management, came to Trefoil after eight years with a Fortune 500 specialty retailer. As a Divisional Director of Operations, Greg's roles included risk management, communications/IT, security and facilities services for this company with more than five million square feet of real estate. He oversees Tremark's property management operations, coordinating tenant communications, tenant improvements, vendor contracts and environmental initiatives.
Todd B. Metzger, Vice President, joined Trefoil in May 2007. Todd is a 1995 graduate of Alfred University with a degree in Ceramic Engineering, and, in 2001, he earned an MBA from the William E. Simon Graduate School of Business at the University of Rochester. Todd brings extensive experience with several multi-national corporations and works in Trefoil's Development Department coordinating various financing and development functions.
David J. Friesen, CPA, retired from his position as CFO and Senior Vice President in 2009. He will continue to work with Trefoil as an advisor and consultant, particularly in regard to financial and accounting matters. Dave is a retired Director of Harleysville Savings Financial Corporation. He served as the Director of Development at Penn View Christian School in Souderton, PA. Prior to Penn View, Dave was the Treasurer of a supermarket chain directly responsible for the management of the accounting and finance departments.
Ramesh R. Desai, Former CFO and now an Advisor to Trefoil Properties and Spectrum Alliance, has worked with Bob for more than 37 years, helping to build our various portfolios. Although Ramesh is now retired, he remains a valued resource, and will continue to advise us regarding financial controls and the strategic direction of the company.
Richard A. Watson, Jr., Advisor to Trefoil. Prior to becoming CFO to the Gooding Group, LLC., Rick served as CFO and then CEO with a major central PA real estate and insurance conglomerate. Rick brings extensive corporate management and real estate experience to Trefoil and Spectrum Alliance, advising the fund, and helping to refine operating and management controls.
